We welcome the Picojet to the hangar :)
Yes everyone, you see it right….. it is mine now
I got this plane from Sven, who has flown it many years with a LOT of fun.
It is my reward for painting his Funjet.
Because the funjet is actually the successor of the Picojet, he no longer had the need to keep flying with de Picojet.
I will fly it now, with at least as much fun as Sven did, and i am thinking about it, to give this delta wing a rediculous paint job
View the Picojet page for more info.
Bye Bye EDF setups….
After a while, i sold the two 65mm edf setups i had.
One 64mm actually, that was left from the crashed amxjet (italian style).
The 65mm edf, 4s setup, came from the crash of my latest amxjet.
Talking with steven and sven made me think, and we decided to buy a NANO jet, all three of us.
I think it will be more fun, flying with my two friend, in stead of alone…
SO, i now have NO edf setups left…. and the wreck of the latest amx has been put in the garage. Maybe i’ll fix it some day (have to make new wings), maybe not….
Stay tuned for the build log of my new NANO-AMX
(50mm edf)
And another AMX-jet bites the dust :(
Today, my second and new amxjet died
what you see here, is what is left!
The flight started of as a normal and good flight. The amx jet started pretty good, and off it went.
I made some full throtle low passes, and in the corners, i was giving aboud 50% throttle.
I almost wanted to land, so i flew in a straight line, didn’t do anything stupid, and one of the wings (main) just went it’s own way!!!
The amx went to the ground…
The wing that went his own way, wasn’t found
The body is fixable, but we’ll have to make new wings.
The AMX2 has ben degraded to “Broken”
We searched… but did notĀ find the missing wing

Added the maiden vid of my new AMX-jet
I have added the maiden video of my robbe AMX-jet!.
The maiden went REALLY well.
Stan threw the plane for me the first time, and off it went.
It flies superb, and Sven had a bit of trouble keeping up with the video cam
Hardly needed any trim to fly level and straight.
And then there was rc-madmen.com!
After being hacked, we searched for a new place to post everything
And we found it!: RC-Madmen.com , our new Remote control news blog in collaboration with Steven, Sven and myself.
What can be expected from this new blog?
Just about anything RC related, ranging from posts from our individual sub blogs, to pictures and videos we find on the internet, to interesting developments in the RC world. Stay tuned if you’d like to enjoy the occasional post about RC by visiting every once and a while, or by using our RSS feed to keep connected.
It also had the links to our own personal blogs (like this)
So take a look on the main rc-madmen blog!
Enjoy!
Added the BD5-J (Flying)
I have added my BD5-J from Windrider
This hongkong-foam plane looks pretty fat ![]()
It is normally equipped with an EDF unit, but we made it a pusher.
It weighs about 900 grams, and the setup has 1.3kg of thrust. The speed of this thing is really good, and the sound of the pusher is pretty cool
In the beginning, these things didn’t fly that good, it was really twitchy on the elevator, and only wanted to fly in a “wave-form”…
After a while, I finally got THE tip to get this flying on RC-groups… the motor angle was way off!
I fixed this, and now it goes like a rocket…
Launching it is a bit hard though, but when it goes… IT GOES!
View the BD5-J page for more info.
Added the new AMX-jet (flying)
I have added my new and faster Robbe AMX-jet.
My first amx jet was my favourite plane, it flew like on rails. The speed was really good too! (for 3s setup) and the looks were perfect (custom paint).
Unfortunately, a clubmember plowed his nitro Calmato right trough that jet… leaving damage, beyond repair
So I wanted to buy a new jet, and a searched for a empty foam jet to put my old amx jet’s setup in, but then….
Someone on the modelbouwforum offered me HIS AMX-jet, so he could buy something else… I thought about it for a while, then saw a youtube vid of a slower version, and sayd YES!
This amx jet has a better EDF unit, stronger motor, bigger ESC and a 4s lipo!
Speed of this baby was measured on a avarage of 165km/h (lasered in both wind directions), so it is my fastest plane right now
Hope it flies good, and i have a lot of fun with this.
By the way, this IS the original paint-job

We got hacked….
Yesterday we were victims of a phishing hack. That event was the reason the blogs were offline for a while.
Fortunately, all info and posts could be saved, but we don’t thing we’ll be safe for long.
So we are looking for a non-free host, to place our blogs.
We are working on finding the perfect URL, and will modify the blogs a bit, to let it look like one site.
The blog will be online as long as possible!
SOLD the Minium Edge
SOLD the Kyosho Minium Edge, so updated the status to SOLD.
I sold this plane today. It has to go to be able to buy a new jet…
I didn’t fly with it that often… so it was just sitting in my garage.
View the Minium Edge page for available info.
Added the Kyosho Minium Edge
I have added the Kyosho Minium Edge (Flying).
This is a REALLY small plane, and the weight is JUST above 30grams!
It is really fun to fly. You can use it indoor, or outside when there is no wind.
It will handle a bit of wind, but not much!
Needs a small field to fly, but it is faster than the Citabria Minium!
Really fun with it’s elevator and aileron control!
THIS PLANE IS FOR SALE to be able to buy a new EDF jet…
